PW6:1 Titanium White Buff, watercolor pigment

created at: 2019-11-04

PW6:1, Buff Titanium, is an unbleached titanium dioxide pigment with a beige, parchment-like tone. It offers semi-opaque to opaque coverage and is non-staining. The iron oxide content gives it a warm yellow-grey color and a slightly coarse texture. In watercolor, it provides a unique neutral useful for sandy landscapes, antique textures, and soft earth tones. While closely related to Titanium White, Buff Titanium retains more body and subtle color variation.
