Deep Sea Black 955 by Shminke Horadam Aquarell (a part of the Supergranulating Colours range) is a low staining ◭ half-transparent ◐ highly granulating GG paint with color separation and excellent lightfastness ***.

Pigment composition, 3 pigments:

PBk11 - Mars Black. PBk11, Mars Black, is an iron oxide-based black with strong opacity and excellent lightfastness. It has a warm undertone and granulates beautifully in watercolor, making it suitable for shadows, earthy mixtures, and expressive monochromes. It’s slower to dry and denser than other blacks.

PB35 - Cerulean Blue. PB35, Cobalt Tin Grey, is an inorganic pigment made by calcining cobalt and tin oxides into a crystalline spinel structure. Often modified with alumina or iron oxides, it presents a soft mid-blue to greenish-blue with a subtle grey cast. In watercolor, it is lightly staining with weak tinting strength and may appear to whiten in washes.
